Who should get a flu shot at a RAVNAH clinic?
- All adults age 18 years and older.
- Adults with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease or asthma.
- Adults with weakened immune system.
- Adults who live with, or provide care for, children and adults.
- Women who will be pregnant during the flu season.
Who should get a pneumonia vaccine?
- All adults age 65 and older who have not had a pneumonia shot.
- Adults age 65 and older who received a pneumonia vaccine before their 60th birthday.
- Adults age 18 and older with a history of chronic health conditions.
- Adults age 18 and older who smoke.
- Adults with weakened immune system.
How much do the vaccines cost?
Flu: For those enrolled in Medicare B or carry Managed Medicare, just bring your card. For all others, the cost is $33 (high-dose is $55). Mastercard, Visa and American Express are accepted.
Pneumonia: For those enrolled in Medicare B or carry Managed Medicare, just bring your card. For all others, the cost is $65. Mastercard, Visa and American Express are accepted.
