Registered Nurse (per diem)

We're seeking compassionate, team-oriented individuals to provide a full range of professional nursing services to clients of all ages including admission, evaluation and care plan development. Working with a team of home care professionals and paraprofessionals, our nurses strive to achieve the highest level of coordinated care for clients served in Rutland County, Dorset and Rupert.

Candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice in Vermont, and have a BSN or ADN. One year of prior clinical experience preferred. On-call weeknights and weekends required.

Psychiatric Nurse (per diem)

As a member of the clinical services team, you'll be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of clients. Your role will be to provide in-home supportive counseling, medical and ADL assessments, and mental status and psychosocial adjustment assessments. Candidates will work with a team of nurses, medical social workers, therapists, nutritionists, and health care aides to achieve the highest level coordinated care.

Candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice in Vermont, and have prior experience in psychiatric nursing.

Hospice Nurse (per diem)

The Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice (RAVNAH), the only Top 500 Home Care Elite home care agency in the State of Vermont is looking for a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our home care program. As an Occupational Therapist and/or COTA in our home care program you will be providing one-on-one in-home therapy care to adult and senior patients throughout Rutland County and the Dorset, Wells, Rupert area.

Personal Care Attendants and Licensed Nursing Assistants for the CarePlus Private In-Home Care Program (per diem)

We’re looking for energetic and caring individuals to provide personal care and companion services to clients of all ages, in the comfort of home. We offer flexible schedules including days, evenings, overnights and weekends, competitive wages, comprehensive training and support, and a respectful workplace.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are a must. Experience as a caregiver or licensure with the State of Vermont as an LNA is helpful.

Hospice Volunteer Services Coordinator

The Rutland Area VNA and Hospice is looking for a special individual to lead our Hospice Volunteer Program. 

 This is a per diem position (approximately 20 hours per week)

 The qualified applicant will have supervisory experience; supervision and/or program management with supervision of volunteers highly desired. Must be able to cultivate, motivate, train and schedule volunteers for the agency’s Hospice program. 

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.  Strong computer skills required. Applicants must display an understanding of working in an environment dealing with death and dying.

 Qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent and three years in a supervisory position required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Prior experience in a hospice program preferred.
